BURSARY

ALL COURSE FEES PAID BY AARDMAN

This bursary place has been made possible through ED&I (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) funding, and is intended to support someone who is underrepresented in the animation industry or who faces barriers in accessing creative opportunities. This could include (but is not limited to) individuals who are:

  • From a global majority background
  • Disabled or neurodivergent
  • From low-income backgrounds
  • LGBTQIA+
  • Carers, care-experienced, or estranged from family
  • Living in areas with limited access to creative education or employment
  • Parents/carers looking at re-entering the industry after a career break.

We understand that everyone’s experience is unique, and you are welcome to share your own context if you feel it is relevant.


Requirements:

  1. You must be a UK Resident
  2. The course requires full-time participation from February to July 2026 at our Bristol Studios*
  3. The course requires part-time participation from December to January 2025 from your home.

*Please note that this bursary only covers the course fees. It is the responsibility of the successful applicant to cover all living and housing costsĀ during the full-time portion of the course that take place at the Aardman Studios in Bristol.
